Do you offer a free trial?
Yes. Every plan includes 14 days free. No credit card required. If you're not sure ModelMatch is right for your catalog, the trial gives you time to load data and test the widgets on your own storefront before committing.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from the billing page inside the app. Your data stays intact when you change plans — only the feature access and limits adjust.
What happens if I exceed my record limit?
You'll see a clear warning in the admin as you approach the limit. You won't lose data, but adding new records pauses until you either remove some or upgrade your plan.
Do you offer annual pricing?
Not at launch. Monthly billing only for now, managed through Shopify's billing system. As the product matures, annual options may become available.
Is there a refund policy?
Shopify handles billing, and Shopify's refund policy applies. If you cancel, you won't be charged for the following month — but already-billed months aren't refunded.
What's "AI-assisted mapping"?
ModelMatch can read your existing Shopify product catalog and suggest compatibility entries based on product names, descriptions, and variant data. You review every suggestion before it's saved — it's a workflow accelerator, not a magic button.
Do you offer custom plans for large catalogs?
Not at launch. The 200,000 record limit on Professional covers the vast majority of merchants. If you're approaching that ceiling, reach out — we'll work something out.
Which plan should I start with?
Most parts merchants start on Growth — it's the default value tier, unlocks the standalone finder, and bumps the AI-assisted mapping cap to 500/month. Starter makes sense if you have a small catalog and don't yet need the standalone finder — both the product-page fit check and the catalog fit check on collection pages are included on Starter, along with AI-assisted mapping at 100/month. Professional is for larger catalogs with real operational depth needs and a 2000/month AI mapping cap.
